  bein
For some three decades, Rav Batzri devoted himself to the spreading of Torah in Beer Sheva and established over the generations hundreds of talmidim, instilling in them Torah wisdom and yiras Shamayim. This was with the intention that his talmidim would then in turn continue to shine the light outwards, to the surrounding area. Therefore, many of his students went on to serve as rabbonim in various kehillos, and also as poskim, roshei kollel, maggidei shiur and melamdim.

Today, the Torah centre continues to expand and develop, along with the Yeshivah and the Kollel, which attracts the finest young men. Bochurim are housed in the dormitories of the Yeshivah with all their needs catered to, on every day of the year, and further tens of bochurim attend the Yeshivah for several hours each day, those who live in the town, who come to learn Torah and to attain true wisdom, in an atmosphere of love of Torah and a true joy of learning.

Yeshivat Beit Yosef is under the personal guidance and supervision of the Rosh Yeshivah, Rav Binyamin Batzri, who founded it. The administration is staffed by rabbonim and educators with vast amounts of experience. The relationships between the staff and the student body are exceptionally warm, and the staff draw close all who enter the portals of the yeshivah, exerting themselves to the utmost to convey their love and concern for each and every talmid. In addition, respect for parents and teachers is taught and conveyed, as well as respect for their peers – and all this alongside an exceptionally high level of learning.

In addition, a mikveh has been built on the yeshivah’s premises, for the benefit of the talmidim. The reputation of the yeshivah only spreads wider and wider, and the number of those seeking to be accepted to study there grows from year to year – and how can one say that there are no funds to take in additional talmidim?

The yeshivah is currently open to admittance of bochurim from the age of eighteen who seek to learn Toras HaShem and provide themselves with the basis for a life of kedushah and taharah.'
